Eileen L. Hudson, CFRE brings more than 20 years of experience in nonprofit advancement to
Ruotolo Associates. Following a successful tenure in telecommunications management, she
transitioned to the nonprofit sector, beginning her advancement work in the Advancement Office
at Canisius University in Buffalo, New York.
Ruotolo Associates later recruited Eileen to join OLV Charities as its first Major Gift Officer,
where she played a key role in two successful capital campaigns. Eileen continued her career
with OLV, serving as Director of Development and, for the final eight years of her 15-year
tenure, as Chief Advancement Officer. She retired from OLV Charities in 2026.
During her time at OLV Charities, Eileen successfully completed three capital campaigns,
expanded program support, developed national donor engagement opportunities, and raised
community awareness through thoughtfully and strategically orchestrated events. Under her
advancement leadership, OLV raised more than $40 million in capital funding in support of OLV
Charities, OLV Human Services and the OLV National Shrine and Basilica.
Eileen has served on the Board of the Association of Fundraising Professionals, Western New
York Chapter, and has presented at national conferences. She currently serves on the Advisory
Committee for Gerard Place, a Buffalo nonprofit organization providing housing and support
services to homeless and single-parent families.
A Western New York native, Eileen and her husband, Greg, split their time between Buffalo and
Sarasota, Florida, while enjoying life with their beloved dog, Cooper.
