Dedication, commitment, and drive all characterize Larry Dorame, whose ten-year career in the philanthropic arena has shown marked results within the nonprofit and faith-based communities with which he has collaborated.
Larry’s expertise includes board development, donor cultivation and major gift initiatives, executive search, capital campaigns, board mentoring, church stewardship, grant development, nonprofit strategic planning & management, and best practices in marketing. Larry creatively conceives and promotes major fundraising activities that serve to unify communities in the process of supporting well-defined and worthy causes allowing organizations to advance to the next level.
During his tenure with RA, Larry has collaborated with a number of organizations; assisting them to obtain their financial and organizational goals. Through Larry’s ability, he has driven our clients to their financial and executive search objectives and transformed organizations in order to help them obtain their desired growth. Larry was recently awarded with the firm’s Tim Manning Culture of Excellence Award in 2019.
Prior to joining RA, Larry managed to master the delicate balance between work and personal life in a way that efficiently and joyfully blended activities in the workplace, family life, and faith. His work-ethic has brought volunteers and staff members together in a variety of successful endeavors, such as raising funds to build a multi-million-dollar, state of the art youth center, and endowments for both a Catholic church and a high school.
Larry earned his BA in Non-Profit Leadership and Management at Arizona State University, along with a certificate from the Nonprofit Leadership Alliance as a Certified Nonprofit Professional (CNP). An avid supporter of his Alma Mater, Larry and his wife of seven years, Casey, enjoy Arizona State University athletics, engaging in his Hispanic heritage, traveling, cooking and the outdoors. They are parents to daughters Emily and Amelia.
Larry and his family live in Gilbert, Arizona.
